Fired Up Feast
The story so far
I started building an outdoor kitchen. Then I couldn't stop cooking on it.
About Fired Up Feast
I’m Tim — a home cook based in Dorset, UK who got slightly obsessed with outdoor cooking and decided to document it. What started as a project to build a proper outdoor kitchen in the garden turned into a full-on live-fire habit: wood-fired pizza, long brisket smokes, reverse-seared steaks, and everything in between.
Fired Up Feast is where I write it all up — the recipes that worked, the ones that didn’t, the kit I actually use, and what I’ve learned building a cooking setup from scratch. It’s a nerdy corner of the internet for people who care too much about leopard-spotted crust and brisket bark. You’ll fit right in.

The person behind it
I’m Tim, based in Dorset, UK. My setup centres on a Gozney Dome — it gets more use than is probably reasonable for a home cook.
I got into outdoor cooking properly when I started building a dedicated kitchen in the garden. That project is still very much in progress — and so is this site.
How recipes are tested
Every recipe on this site gets cooked at least twice before it goes up — once to nail the method, once to check the write-up actually makes sense to follow. I note what went wrong each time and fold that into the pro tips.
Gear guides and equipment picks are based on what I own and cook on regularly — not affiliate sponsorships or products I haven’t touched.
